Our LPNs engage in the more practical aspects of nursing that clients may need, providing hands-on assistance, and can perform all the duties that require a practical nursing license. G-tube medicine administration, wound care, tracheotomy care, vital sign monitoring, and more can be attended to by our LPNs, who can also provide companionship and assistance with daily activities and light housekeeping as needed.
Nightingale’s RNs are in charge of more complex need clients, and can perform all the nursing duties required by the South Carolina licensure board. Assessments, complex medical management, invasive monitoring, infusions and medications, as well as both adult AND pediatric care needs can all be performed by Nightingale’s expert nurses.
As registered nurses, our RNs can also oversee and assist with individualized care plans with clients, their families, their medical team, and other caregivers.
RNs are also required for pediatric care, and all our registered nurses are specially trained for infant and pediatric care, as well as assisting children with disabilities such as Autism and Down Syndrome.
